Leader of the Center for International Folk Dance, Oslo, Norway, 1982-2003.
Teacher of Ethnic and Folkloristic Dance at the Norwegian National Ballet College and the Norwegian National College of Music, 1980 – 2003, and occasional lecturer at the Norwegian National Theater College, 1986-2000).
Lecturer and teacher of Dance at the University College of Oslo, 1985-2003.
Teacher of Dance at Follo Folkehøgskole (an arts high school outside of Oslo) 1985-2003.
Designer and implementer of a folk dance teaching program including creation and production of teaching materials (books, CDs and videos) for the Aschehoug Publishing House, Oslo.

Studied in the Political Science Department of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology 1973-77. 4 years work toward a PhD degree. All coursework and exams completed. Dissertation research in Norway completed. Dissertation not completed.
Completed full 3-year professional training in Choreography at the Norwegian National Ballet College, Oslo – 1979-82.
